It's a wraparound. When projectiles hit a shield at an angle, they bounce off. Since Shadow Ball has such a weird trajectory,it can wrap around and shield spike someone's back.

He just ran off into a telport to ledge, fell of into a b-reverse full shadowball for the kill, jumped under the stage and them teleported to the other ledge. the only two things that might be hard are the b-reverse and teleport to the first ledge. but hes probably had experience with them.
